Hand crafted wood box with decorative brass leaf inlay along both sides. Lid opens UP and incense sticks can be stored inside. Hole in end plate for mounting lit stick. Ash reservoir for safe and tidy use.
I believe this is teak but I can not be 100% sure. At any rate, it is attractive, solid and in good vintage condition. Delightful brass swirls and leaf design polished up v nicely.
